In a recent update from my Chiropractic Associations, I was informed that they had secured a regular “column” and presence in one of Canada’s top women’s magazines, Chatelaine.  They will also be present on Chatelaine’s website – talking about healthy back habits.  This first placement and presence talks about safe gardening tips so people don’t create problems for themselves.

I see this as a small, but positive step in the right direction.  I still find their message about what chiropractors do, and who we are, to be weak and unclear.  But I support their efforts, and keep track of them so I know how my profession is educating the public about our profession.

There will be a monthly, regular section on the website, and in the printed magazine as well – but don’t quote me, I’m just pretty certain.

As a bonus, in searching for the link on Chatelaine’s website, this article came up mentioning a chiropractor.  Bonus!

Let me know what you think – I’d love to hear your thoughts about whether this is congruent with your perception of what chiropractors provide to the people of Canada.

Till tomorrow,

Dr J
